PPG has named Polina Ware as its new packaging coatings global technical director, effective 9 January. Ware leads the packaging coatings leadership team with responsibility for the continued development of the company’s industry-leading packaging coatings solutions that help protect consumers and the environment.
Robyn McMillan, Global Beverage Segment Manager for Packaging Coatings, brings a unique perspective to the packaging coatings business. Joining PPG in 1988 and working as a polymer research chemist for the first half of her career, McMillan brings that scientific expertise to her current role, where she is responsible for growth, strategic planning, and brand owner outreach for the global beverage coatings segment.
Thirty volunteers from PPG packaging coatings and Ardagh Metal Packaging revitalized the facilities of Clean Up – Give Back, a non-profit that organizes trash cleanups in Illinois. The team spent the day beautifying the organization's new headquarters and community center.
